I have always believed there is something sacred in craft. especially when it relates to heritage pieces. I have spent the last few years focused on heritage craft projects rediscovering techniques and being thought many existing ones . I have been focusing my craft on sustainable practice and learning about coppicing and regenerative practices when it comes to selecting materials like heather and hazel.

After three years of Studying set construction at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland I have picked up a wide range of practical skills in set and prop making. The curriculum focused on hands-on projects that emphasized detail and creativity. My prop-making skills improved as I realized imaginative concepts using different methods and tools. This training equipped me to contribute to theatrical productions with my own unique perspective.

Everything we sell is hand made in the Southern uplands of Scotland, made from locally harvested materials and collected in a sustainable manner. Each product has a little bit of the Nith valley in it in more ways than one. Winter has always been a special time to us, meeting up with friends and exchanging gifts.
